This month we're focusing on summer. In particular we'll be looking at Planeta Winery, a set of ridiculously picturesque vineyards nestled high up on Mount Etna in sunny Sicily. Establishing their farm here 500 odd years ago, the family has good claim to knowing their land, and how to grow grapes!

About the event
2025 has already seen Planeta once again being included in the very exclusive The Worlds Most Admired Wine Brands list, as well as being ranked 5th overall amongst or all Italian Wineries. Additionally, their winemaker Alessio Planeta won Winemaker of the Year 2023 and 2024. This is a seriously good set up, with their attention to quality coming through very clearly in each of their bottles. We've carried some of their lines at various times over the past few years, and customers have consistently asked us for more of their stuff...So here's your chance to try 6 of their wines all in one evening!
